This company won't leave me alone! My contract expired in April but yet they say it's October. They emailed me my contract which was unreadable. Then sent it snail mail and same thing. Talked to them adnauseum. One trip gave mgr a sob story about how she thought she lived in a safe community until she was burglarized by get neighbors friend. The systems started have troubles with in a year called to get it fix. Came out quick. 3 to 4 months same troubles. ask to get it fix 3 four months went by called and called. I have tried to talk to several people trying to get help.I have been ask 20 question, then passed on to someone else. I have even wrote a letter to Dallas TX, same kind of bad treatment. I had service with Monitronics for 3 years. during that time I moved to an apartment and knew I had 1 more year with the service so I had them install it in my apartment even though I really don't need it now. I had an alarm account on two locations with a local company. That company sold my account to Monitronics some time later. After years of screwed up billing, one of the units developed a problem. I called today to cancel and got a 40 minute run around. My contract is up. They train their people to avoid allowing you to cancel. Very unprofessional. Even below they state inept to the check box:I have read and agree to the "Pissed" Consumer Terms of Service. How completely uneducated is the person who wrote that. Read more
