I hate monitronics!!! I have had the worst experience when it comes to dealing with them! I lost my home over 3 years ago and still got harrassing phone calls to pay them off. This company does not follow there own contracts they lie they came to my house to install there device a month after first of all. Second I called them the same week I did not want there service and they should have cancel this service in which they did not. When finally they came there technicians did not know why it was not working it took them 3 techs to come out installed it 1 month or more... Read more

Monotronics sucks. They closed their local office and never told me. I called to cancel and was told I had to send the request to an out of state office. I did. They say it never arrived. Read the reviews and you will see how difficult it is to stop having the payment come out of your account. My next step was to cancel my credit card and I did. I was pushed into purchasing a 3 yr contract with MOnitronics by a very pushy salesman on 6-4-2012. I spokke with your customer service on 4-30-2015 and mailed a letter to the company to end my contract on 6-5-2015. Monitronics is a joke. Customer sevice is horrible after trying to cancel service and finally getting it canceled after almost a year, I still get harassing calls 5 times a day. When contacting them to get it resolved they tell me i dont have an account and they will take my number off their list, its been 2 years now! Save yourself the headache never use this company! They have raised their fee to the point where I can no longer afford their service. One month I received no bill, the next month I got a double billing plus a late fee of $3.00 a total of $94.96.
