I had Montronics installed after lies from their salesman. He told me that it was the only wireless system offered and doesn't require me having a home phone. After having it installed I found out that ADT has the better system and it costs less. Don't get the system, it costs to much and once you're in you can't get out until your contract is up. Imagine a security company - whose job it is to keep would-be robbers out of your house - winding up being the biggest criminals of all. Initial installation was HORRIBLE. The installer was a hothead who installed the device on a switch-bearing wall, then left a huge hole in the wall that he never addressed. These people ONLY take your money. We would INTENTIONALLY set off the alarm as we knew they were NOT monitoring a thing. They were clueless when we called and told them. This should be against the law!! They put you into a contract saying you have to pay 50.99 a month for 5 years and won't let you out of it without paying for the full contract!!!
