I have a monotonic system for the home and my business. I would get the bill when it was already late and then they would charge me a late fee! I called Monotonics on 4-23-15 to cancel my service. They tried to sell me on moving to another product, while we were talking the call dropped off. Monitronics has continued to bill me even after I had cancelled on the phone, several times!! They claim I asked them for a 3 month hold on account, that I wanted them to move service to my new address. All lies. They never told me I needed to write them in order to cancel service. Wow, I just called to cancel then after sitting on phone forever, I was told that I can cancel with out paying close to $2000. i informed the rep that I was moving to a house with a security system and didn't need the service anymore. Im writing this comment to the people who seem to like Monitronics security! Wait until your contract is up,and you want to cancel with them for one reason or another!Send them a registered letter about your termination one month before its up,and freeze your account at the bank,Because if you don't they will continue to take your money out !
