I've had Monitronics for 3 years now, I found out that my sensors haven't been working for God knows how long (apparently this is my fault though). This review is regarding two accounts. The first account is the service at my house. We switched providers in February of this year, and cancelled the account with Monitronics in writing. Called on May 7 14 to order more sensors. I was going out of town on the 16th, assured me parts would arrive. I asked for priority shipping so I could install them before I left for 4 months. We signed up with Devcon Security almost 3 years ago and just last year Devcon let go of their shares here in Washington and gave our contract with Monitronics. Monitronics never sent us any information that they were taking over or any information about their company. Monitronics gave me the run around for 7 months on canceling my account. I told them that I was going to the Attorney General today, for not providing a reasonable cancelation method and they offered to cancel over the phone, no faxing or mailing and settle for half the amount owing.
