I just got off of the phone with a monitronics person who still tried to sell me an upgraded alarm system. They were suppose to come out today to do a service call and no one showed up. So the "supervisor" told me that the people that do the service calls are not sub-contractors but yet everyone else told me they subcontract out. I signed a contract with Monitronics while under the impression that we had a chance to win our foreclosure case. They locked me into a contract that is impossible to to get out of. When we signed the contract we told them we were in the middle of fighting a foreclosure and they said it was ok, never explaining that to get out of the contract we would have to pay the remainder of it. We signed up for a free GE system to protect our home and save us money on our home owners insurance with PLATINUM PROTECTION, who Subcontracted MONOTRONICS as the monitoring company. I've had Monitronics for 3 years now, I found out that my sensors haven't been working for God knows how long (apparently this is my fault though). Called on May 7 14 to order more sensors. I was going out of town on the 16th, assured me parts would arrive. I asked for priority shipping so I could install them before I left for 4 months.
