Monitronics is horrible to deal with!
Initial installation was HORRIBLE. The installer was a hothead who installed the device on a switch-bearing wall, then left a huge hole in the wall that he never addressed. When I asked for instructions how to use it he threw a packet in my lap with papers and a CD. When I finally got someone out to fix the wall they called him and told him I wasn't happy with him putting it there (the instructions said it never should be!). He proceeded to yell at me that it was ok when he left, that I should contact my rep...what rep? The marketer who called me in the first place, and told me I could quit any time, which isn't true.
Trying to cancel the account after the contract is up is HORRIBLE. They put you on hold and transfer you to 4 other people , waiting on hold between each transfer for at least 10-15 minutes. It takes FOREVER to tell them you are done! THEN, they tell you you have to write a letter to their Dallas office, and they won't close your account for 30 days, while still taking your money.
NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY
