I would never recommend this company to anyone!!!

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service, or lack thereof, that Monitronics has provided not to mention the "I could care less" attitude of several of your employees. I initially contacted Monotronics on February 24th regarding issues with my father's alarm system.

It was continuously beeping. The Monitronics representative had us on a 3 way call and had us disable the alarm system, stated it needed an upgrade, and stated a service technician would be out to service it within 24-48 hours. Nobody ever showed up. I contacted Monotronics again and was told by another representative that it was never scheduled for service as it was not a priority.

What? My father is 72 years old, lives alone, and there have been several break-in's in his neighborhood which I told her. He still wasn't a priority. Her words were "this was not considered a priority".

I was told again a technician would be out within 24-48 hours. Time came and went. Nobody showed up again. On January 30th yet another representative confirmed that a technician would service the alarm today (Feb 1st) at 1 pm CST.

At 3 p.m CST a technician has still not serviced the alarm. I called Monotronics yet again. Nine days without an active alarm system and the representative's solution was to either wait 30 more minutes or she could reschedule (this was after she put me on hold for 20 mins trying to call your technician) I asked for a supervisor. Another female got on the phone and reiterated that they would need to reschedule a technician.

Come to find out she was not a supervisor like I had requested. She stated she was another scheduler. I asked her for a supervisor and was told none was available. She stated a Trainor was not available either.

She refused to provide me with their names and stated she did not have a direct number for either. Her solution was to take my number and "someone" would call me back. How can you call yourself a security company when you are not providing peace of mind or even a working security system for nine days? Nine days and Monitronics still has not provided service or reactivated my father's alarm system.

This is simply unacceptable service. We are now searching for a new security system company.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.
