I am moving to a different state and will be using one of Monitronics competitors. After a call to their customer service to cancel.

I was told by customer service that I had 3 years left on my 5 year contract (by the way this is not the norm) and owe $1125.00 for services that I will not use and old equipment was installed long before they talked me into changing from an previous alarm company.

I also recently experience very poor customer service when the audible alerts got scrambled and I had to buy and self replace the main system battery and one of the door sensors.Lesson learned do not answer the door if Monitronics knocks.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.
